Product description The USB 1.1 over CAT5 Superbooster Dongle Transmitter from C2G extends USB 1.1 signals up to 150 ft over CAT5 to an optional C2G receiver, allowing the flexibility to place your USB device in one room and the connected computer or display in another.
Receivers are available in 1-, 2-, and 4-port configurations (model #s CA29350, CA29353, CA29346, and CA29347), and as a 2-port Decora-compatible wall plate (# CA29345).
The transmitter is plug and play and bus-powered, so it doesn't require an external power supply. It supports CAT5, CAT5E, and CAT6 UTP cables. (Please note, the power demands of USB devices such as external drives and USB hubs may require the use of external power for proper operation.)
