Product description Handheld, portable, and battery powered, this Digital/Analog Signal Level Meter from CableTronix is a quick and efficient way of monitoring digital and analog signal levels. The bold dot-matrix LCD screen displays video carrier, audio carrier strength, V/A measurements, Tilt measurement, C/N measurement and Trunk voltage measurement. This unit can balance digital QAM and analog headend systems, read digital off air signal levels, troubleshoot RF distribution systems, and take measurements at individual drops. The full-scan option and spectrum option provide the ability to view the carrier amplitude in a full-span display and spectrum analysis. Digital signal testing includes Bit Error Rate (BER) and Modulation Error Rate (MER) to check signal integrity. The internal battery can last up to 5 hours, and the rubber-jacketed housing protects the electronics from impacts. Its ease-of-use and feature availability means that this unit can be deployed with novice and expert technicians alike. - Direct input by frequency from 55.25 MHz - 865.25 MHz
