Product description A Guide to On-Camera Flash Read More Improving upon its predecessor, the RF60x Wireless Flash from Cactus implements a new cooling mode, the ability to quick recharge at full power in just 1.9 seconds, an AF assist light in sync with other Cactus devices, and automatic wireless high-speed sync support in slave mode. The RF60x main selling point is still a built-in radio transceiver with a 328' range that is fully compatible with the Cactus V6 system and high-powered with a guide number of 183' at ISO 100 and 105mm. The flash is fully manual and has a zoom range of 24-105mm that can be expanded to 18mm with the built-in wide-angle diffuser panel. The unit also has the ability to act as either a wireless slave or master and can have its setting changed remotely via another unit or a V6 radio trigger. The RF60x offers numerous other features for convenience, including the ability to tilt up 90° and rotate 270°. The power can be adjusted from 1/1 to 1/128 in 1/3 EV steps and it will recycle in about 0.1-1.9 seconds, depending on power and batteries. Specialized shooting modes are available, including strobe and high speed sync sympathy mode. Additionally, it runs on four AA batteries and comes with both a carrying case and stand. - Cooling mode prevents RF60x from overheating
- 2.4 GHz wireless transceiver with 16 channels and three modes; local, master, and slave
- Wireless range of about 328' and full compatibility with V6 transceiver, including the ability to control power output and zoom range
- Four groups are available and each group can be renamed to one of the following: KEY, FILL, SPOT, RIM, HAIR, LEFT, RIGHT, BACK, and FRONT
- Automatic wireless high-speed sync support while in slave mode for Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, and Sony when using the V6II or V6IIs transceiver
- Built-in optical sensor features multiple delay settings for ensuring it isn't triggered by any pre-flashes
- Multi-flash mode fires a series of flashes to capture multiple images of a moving subject in a single frame
- High speed sync sympathy mode works with the TTL flash mounted on camera to produce even illumination across the frame at shutter speeds up to 1/8000 second
- Will provide about 100 flashes at 1/1 power and 2000 at 1/128 power
- Quick full-power recharge time of just 1.9 seconds
- AF assist light in sync with other Cactus devices, such as the V6II or V6IIs
