Product description The CAD CAD12 is a handheld cardioid dynamic microphone designed for reproduction of vocals, speech, and instruments in concerts, public address, houses of worship, recording sessions, and live stage applications. Its dynamic capsule requires no power source and delivers a frequency response of 80 Hz to 13 kHz. The cardioid polar pattern consistently rejects sound at its off-axis points and yields high immunity to feedback. The metal housing and steel grille ensure road-ready toughness. A recessed on/off switch is provided for convenient muting of the mic between speeches or performances. The XLR 3-pin output offers compatibility with most microphone preamps, mixer inputs, and portable PA systems. The CAD12 ships with a microphone clip for easy mounting on a mic stand (available separately). - Cardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of ambient noise and resists feedback
- Balanced XLR 3-pin output ensures compatibility with most microphone preamps, mixer inputs, audio interfaces, and portable PA systems
- Recessed on/off switch allows easy mic muting by the performer
- Flex-Form hardened steel grille resists dents and protects the capsule
