Designed for multiple presenters, the Califone PA419Q Portable Bluetooth PA with Handheld Wireless Microphone System features two wireless microphone receivers with support for a third presenter via wired microphone. The wireless microphone has a transmission range of 150 feet. Intended for applications such as in schools and churches, the unit includes both Bluetooth and NFC (Near Field Communication) for quick and easy wireless audio streaming from a Bluetooth-enabled device.
The unit can provide voice or music amplification out to groups up to 300 people (or in rooms up to 2,000 sq ft). A voice priority feature automatically mutes any music being played back while a connected voice is making announcements. Three seconds after the speaking stops, the music will return to its previous level. Each microphone receiver includes a channel selector, a volume control, as well as audio and RF indicator lights.
The PA system can run on AC power or its rechargeable lithium battery, which is 20% lighter than a comparable lead-acid battery. It can play for at least 2.5 hours on a single charge, and will recharge while playing when connected to an AC power supply.
Additional connectivity includes a digital display with a USB/SD card slot, a combination XLR and 1/4" microphone input, as well as an RCA input pair, and a stereo 1/8" (3.5 mm) auxiliary input for connecting smartphones and other media devices.
The rear panel also includes a music/speech button, mic/aux/MP3/master volume controls, an RCA line level output, and a set of composite RCA video outputs. The bottom of the device includes a standard 1-3/8" tripod mounting hole for placement on a stand. The included remote control allows you to adjust the pitch of digital audio by up to ±20% in 3% increments, which can be useful for dance and music teachers.
