Product description The Spirit multimedia boom box from Califone is a lightweight and rugged audio player ideal for indoor or outdoor use in schools and other institutions. Constructed from rugged ABS plastic, the Spirit features a CD player with a random play feature and an LCD display. An AM/FM tuner is provided for picking up radio signals, and a cassette player/recorder allows you to play back pre-recorded tapes, or record signals from the CD player or AM/FM tuner.
The boom box has 4 built-in speakers, allowing it to reach every listener in a large classroom. It also has a standard 3.5mm stereo headphone jack for private listening. Multiple users can listen via headphones with the addition of a headphone jack box (sold separately).
The Spirit can be plugged into a wall using the permanently attached AC power cord. It can also operate via 8 C batteries, ideal for mobile or outdoor use. The built-in carrying handle makes it easy to take the Spirit anywhere.
The Spirit also offers a 1-year warranty for use in schools, churches, businesses, and government facilities. The warranty on many other common multimedia players becomes void when used in one of these institutions. - Lightweight and durable ABS enclosure
