Product description The green Cam Caddie Scorpion Jr. is a freestanding camera support system that helps you create smooth flowing cinematic shots with small camcorders, DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, GoPro cameras, and select smartphones up to 3.1" wide. Mount and orient your camera to the platform, and the Scorpion Jr. stands by itself on flat surfaces. Or, grab the integrated hand grip, which arches above your camera, for grab-and-go, low-angle shots. You can reposition your hand along the grip to elevate the camera or support it from under the platform for eye-level shooting.
The integrated ergonomic handle is constructed from a lightweight composite and skinned with neoprene foam for a comfortable and extended hand-holding time. Taking advantage of your camera's LCD screen or an optional external monitor allows you to move the Scorpion Jr. through a greater range of motion than if you had to keep your eye attached to the camera. The accessory shoe orients 360°, so you can align it with your camera. - Versatile camera support system for DSLRs, point-and-shoots, action cameras, and compact camcorders
- Allows you to use your body's own bio-mechanics to stabilize your footage, and, when you need a break, you can just put the Scorpion Jr. down on a flat surface such as a table or the floor
- The ergonomic handle curves up and forward over the camera platform, reminiscent of a scorpion, allowing you to mount cameras and other devices with a height less than 5.5"
- Offers stable support and helps dampen jerky movements
- The accessory shoe orients 360°, allowing you to attach and arrange accessories to match the camera direction
- The camera platform provides 1.5" of side-to-side adjustment and 4.5" of forward-back adjustment. This allows you to adjust the camera's position on the Scorpion Jr.'s platform for optimal balance without adding counterweights
