Product description The Cambo SCH-U 3-D Gearhead is a heavy-duty studio head with gear-driven forward tilt intended for studio cameras weighing up to 55 lb (25 kg) on Cambo studio stands with U-4 or UBA crossarms. The worm drive geared forward tilt is inherently self-locking, and lateral tilt is controlled with a damped, split-casting type lock and splined lock handle. Panning is achieved through the rotating camera stage and locked in position with a second splined lock handle. In concert, the controls of the Cambo SCH-U provide safe, reliable positioning of heavy studio cameras in a wide range of configurations. - Gear-Driven Forward Tilt
- Inherently self-locking worm drive mechanism provides precise positioning and ensures camera payload will not fall over unexpectedly
- Damped Lateral Tilt
- The split-casting type lateral tilt lock is damped, and a splined lock handle adapts to any camera configuration
- 360º Camera-Stage Panning
- Panning is achieved through a rotating camera stage and locked in position with a second splined lock handle
- Direct Stand Mount
- With the included U-19 adapter, this model mounts directly on Cambo U-4 or UBA Crossarms
