Product description The CAME-TV Protective Cage Plus for GH5 is a CNC Machined armor cage that protects your camera and provides over 50 accessory mounting points for you to mount accessories without stressing your camera's body. The cage is form-fitting, without obstructing access to the camera's functions, connections, battery, or SD card compartment. It features an integrated front plate which prevents your camera from twisting within the cage, and the reversible top handle can be mounted in a forward orientation, enabling the use of the Panasonic XLR microphone adapter (not included).
The cage itself incorporates a cold shoe, and the top handle also incorporates a cold shoe. A third cold shoe is removable, so you can place it virtually anywhere on any of the 1/4"-20 accessory mounting points distributed over the cage. In addition to the cage, an included 15mm LWS rod clamp accepts 15mm rods (not included). The cage features spring-loaded locking levers, and the rod clamp has one 1/4"-30 and two 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes, so you can mount the cage to a tripod. - Form-fitting cage incorporates a front plate that prevents the camera from twisting in the cage.
- The reversible top handle mounts using cap head screws, and can be mounted either with the handle extending back away from the lens, or forward over the lens. Mounting the handle forward over the lens allows you to mount the optional Panasonic XLR microphone adapter.
- Fifty-three 1/4"-20 and four 3/8"-16 threaded accessory mounting holes enable mounting accessories to your camera without stressing your camera's body.
- The cage uses a rail system to attach to the tripod adapter with built-in rod clamps.
- Spring-loaded locking levers enable you to lock or loosen the cage's functions, even when there isn't enough room to fully rotate the lever.
- The tripod adapter with built-in rod clamps allows you to mount 15mm support rods (not included), which enables using industry standard rod-mounted accessories.
