Product description Tailored to fit Sony's FS7, this Rig Cage with Top Handle from CAME-TV expands your camera mounting and accessory mounting options. The rig consists of a 15mm LWS rod baseplate, side arm bracket, a top plate with 15mm rod clamp, and a bolt-on long top handle. In addition to front and rear 15mm rod clamps, the baseplate features an adjustable lens adapter support and rosettes on either side for attaching optional handgrips. An integrated support pad at the bottom of the baseplate facilitates shoulder-mounted shooting, with a sliding tripod plate providing quick-release attachment to tripods and other support devices.
For accessory mounting, you'll find eighteen 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the side arm, with additional 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes on the top plate and top handle. A 15mm rod clamp on the front of the top plate not only supports a pair of 15mm rods at the top of the rig, but it also has a single 15mm rod port oriented perpendicularly to the camera, which is particularly useful for mounting optional EVF/monitor support arms.
