Product description Designed to support the Sony FS7 and other camcorders, the Sliding Baseplate System with 15mm Rods from CAME-TV includes a dovetail plate with 15mm rod clamps, a sliding balance plate, and a 12" pair of 15mm rods. This mounting system enables you to easily rebalance your camera on a tripod after switching lenses, or adding/removing accessories. The baseplate incorporates 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threaded holes for mounting to a tripod or other support, and the balance plate includes screws in both sizes for attaching to your camera.
