• Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-4000S 44" Professional Production Signage Large-Format Inkjet Printer Deliver posters and signage with precise color consistency with the imagePROGRAF PRO-4000S 44" Professional Production Signage Inkjet Printer from Canon. Able to handle large documents up to 44" wide and with a maximum resolution of 2400 x 1200 dpi, users will be able to create high-quality documents and graphics with sharp text at exceptional sizes. In order to deliver prints with speed and consistency the PRO-4000S has a few tricks up its sleeve, including Canon's FINE technology with a 1.28"-wide 12-channel print head, an eight-color LUCIA PRO pigmented ink set, a high-precision mechanical platform, and the L-COA PRO high-speed image processing engine. Additionally, this model offers a built-in color densitometer that uses a three-color LED and condenser lens to ensure peak performance.
  
  The PRO-4000S utilizes a Sub Ink Tank system to squeeze every last drop out of your cartridges along with providing smooth swaps even in the midst of a print job. An integrated 320GB hard drive furthers the unit's capabilities by allowing it to work with large documents easily. For operating the device, a large 3.5" color LCD touchscreen is available and a directly available USB port permits printing from a thumb drive. Additionally, this printer has wired and wireless networking thanks to both Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity and it has USB 2.0 for a simple connection to a computer.
  8-Color LUCIA PRO Ink Set
  • Using an eight-color system of pigment-based inks this set will deliver vivid images with clear details along with enhanced red color performance, a reduced grain, and improved reproduction in dark areas.
  PF-10 Print Head
  • A PF-10 1.28"-wide print head with 18,432 nozzles and anti-clogging FINE technology allows for fast, precise printing that is checked by 27 individual sensors. For improved performance, this system uses 12 channels with eight colors, symmetrically arranging cyan, magenta, yellow, and matte black for a bidirectional printing process with denser ink placement and faster speeds. The print head is also wider than earlier models, allowing for the printer to only need one and achieve a more compact design.
  L-COA PRO High-Speed Image Processing Engine
  • Utilizing three processing chips, the PRO-4000S can precisely manage large image files and control ink layout for optimal performance and high-resolution prints.
  Color Calibration
  • Featuring an integrated color densitometer with three-color LED and condenser lens, users will be able to recalibrate the PRO-4000S at nearly any time to ensure consistently colored prints. The Device Management Console software furthers your abilities by enabling calibrations and checking of print statuses for up to 50 units from a remote location.
  Optional Multifunction Roll System
  • This optional system enables a second roll of media to be loaded or to set up a bi-directional media take-up unit. The dual-roll feeding mechanism allows media of different types or sizes to be loaded at once for fast swapping or simply having two of the same rolls for high-volume jobs. A bi-directional rewinding method allows users to set up the second roll as a take-up unit and users can choose whether the printed surface is on the inside or outside of the roll.
  USB Direct Printing
  • An accessible USB port permits the use of a thumb drive for direct printing of PDF and JPG files without the use of a computer.
  Sub-Ink Tank System and Large-Capacity Cartridges
  • The Sub-Ink Tank System lets users squeeze every last drop of ink in the tank before needing to replace it, also enabling cartridge swaps in the middle of job without any issues. The PRO-4000S also accepts large-capacity cartridges from the PFI-1100, PFI-1300, and PFI-1700 series with capacities of 160mL, 330mL, and 700mL, respectively.
  Multipositional Basket
  • The basket can be freely adjusted as a catch basket, for flatbed stacking, and as a slope for print display.
  320GB Hard Drive
  • Holds job data in protected storage to alleviate the workload on a Windows or Mac computer and allows for easy access from remote workstations.
