Product description The Canon KH10ex3.6 IRSE A 10x Wide Angle ENG Zoom Lens is a 3.6-36mm lens for 1/2" format cameras. The lens has a fast maximum aperture of f/1.45 at 3.6-27mm, which stops down to f/1.9 at 36mm. Canon's HDgc series lenses exhibit high MTF, high resolution and high contrast from the center of the image to its extreme edges.
With the Shuttle Shot feature, a digital drive automatically "shuttles" between two preset points in either direction, and Framing Preset can reproduce a preset zoom position and repeat the same zoom at the highest speed. Users can also preset a specific zoom speed. Finally, 16-bit rotary encoder devices built into the drive unit make it easy to integrate the lens into a virtual digital studio system.
With the goal of minimizing chromatic aberration, the HDgc series lenses utilizes special elements including an artificially re-crystallized element, "Fluorite", with extraordinary dispersion characteristics and the newly developed "Hi-UD" (high index ultra low dispersion) glass. Canon has succeeded in the practical use of special elements along with advanced design techniques like "separate achromatism". - 3.6-36mm f/1.45-1.9 with 2x Extender
- 3.6-36mm renders a wide angle-of-view on 1/2" format cameras, and the 2x extender effectively doubles the focal range.
- Shuttle Shot
- By memorizing any two focal lengths, the digital drive can automatically "shuttle" between the two points, moving in either direction.
- Framing Preset
- An angle of view can be preset in either of two memories and the lens will zoom to that position with the push of a button. It is easy to repeat the same zoom as often as you like at the highest speed or in a preset zoom speed.
- Speed Preset
- A specific zoom speed can be preset in memory and it is possible to repeat the zoom speed as often as you like by pushing a simple button.
- 16 bit Resolution Rotary Encoder Device
- A 16 bit resolution rotary encoder device built into the digital drive unit allows the lens to be integrated into a virtual digital studio system.
