Product description The Canon KH13X4.5 KRSD 1/2" Portable HDTV ENG Lens is a wide angle lens that offers focal lengths from a shallow 4.5mm up to 59mm. The KH13X4.5 KRSD also provides a wide field of view of 75.7 degrees. It is a design that directly responds to the expressed creative desires of broadcasters and HD producers utilizing standard HD acquisition systems.
The KH13x4.5 KRSD represents a good compromise between the demands for mobility in a handheld HDTV camera system and the high imaging performance requirements for HDTV production. The KH13x4.5 KRSD incorporates a high MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) over the entire image plane, a minimization of chromatic aberrations, and a maximization of image contrast. Relative light distribution was optimized for the more open aperture settings and this uniformity of brightness across the image plane combined with the high contrast and picture sharpness produces crisp clear HD pictures. - Shuttle Shot
- At the touch of a button, this feature allows the operator to zoom back and forth instantly between any two positions. It can be used to zoom to the telephoto position to check focus and then return instantly to the original position or you can "shuttle" between any two zoom positions at any time.
