Product description The Canon KJ13x6B KRSD HDgc 13x 2/3" ENG/EFP Lens is a 13x zoom lens for professional 2/3" HD video cameras that comes with a full-servo mode. The lens is intended for the HD News gathering, reality show and lower budget HD production markets. The focal-length range is 6-78mm with a shallow minimum object distance of 15.7" (0.4 m). KJ13x6B also offers a wide field of view of 77.3 degrees. The KJ13x6B represents a strong compromise between the demands for mobility in a handheld HDTV camera system and the high imaging performance requirements for HDTV production. - High Definition Ready
- This HD lens weighs the same as its SD predecessor, yet it is designed specifically for HD Video. The multi-coated lens elements are designed to produce clear and sharp HD images.
- Improved Image Quality
- The lens element design greatly reduces aberrations and image distortions. These advances contribute to more balanced imaging from center to edge throughout the aperture range.
- Shuttle Shot
- The KJ13x6B also comes outfitted with Shuttle Shot, which allows the lens to memorize two focal lengths and the Digital Drive can zoom back and forth between the two positions. It can be used to zoom to the telephoto position to check focus and then return instantly to the original position or you can "shuttle" between any two zoom positions at any time. Maximum zoom time between positions is 1.2 seconds.
- Internal Focus for Ultimate Versatility
- The lens is made for the highest quality professional video cameras. The front lens element is stationary and can be used with a matte box for greater lens flair protection as well as a wide array of square and rectangular filters.
