Product description Project in nearly any setting with the Canon REALiS WUX500 D Pro AV 5000-Lumen WUXGA LCoS Projector. Its 5000-lumen brightness can overcome ambient light in most settings, and the 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio helps enhance detail, even in dark areas of the image. Its native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution adds to its image clarity, particularly for those sitting near the screen. The projector features a DICOM Simulation Mode, allowing it to simulate the results of DICOM devices for training purposes.
The WUX500 D Pro AV has DVI-I, HDMI, VGA, and HDBaseT video inputs, along with an analog audio input and output for connecting to an external speaker system. If separate speakers aren't an option, the projector has a 5W speaker built in. It features a 1.39 to 2.51:1 throw ratio, allowing the projector to be placed near the back of the room. It can be controlled via Ethernet, RS-232, or the included IR remote. A VGA cable is also included for instant connectivity. - DICOM Simulation Mode
- The WUX500 D offers a DICOM Simulation Mode that allows the projector to simulate the results of devices compliant with the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Part 14 standardized display function, for display of grayscale images. The DICOM Simulation Mode, which supports both Blue and Clear Base, adjusts the gradation between the minimum and the maximum luminance, so gradation is distributed optimally. This feature is optimized for displaying medical images such as X-rays, CAT scans, and MRIs, which makes the WUX500 D useful for non-diagnostic purposes such as lectures, academic meetings, and hospital conferences. This feature is recommended for use in medical schools for training and educational use only.
- 5000 Lumens of Brightness with a 2000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio
- The REALiS WUX500 D Pro AV projects images with up to 5000 lumens of brightness and a 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio that helps ensure deep blacks, bright whites, and enhanced color. This is designed to create images with crisp depth and dimension and accurate color, which is critical to those with discerning needs.
- Native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 Resolution
- WUXGA resolution helps bring widescreen HD content to large-room installations. Content is projected without compression, allowing widescreen graphics, text, and other visual content to be shown in accurate proportions.
- LCOS Technology with AISYS Enhancement
- The AISYS (Aspectual Illumination System) optical engine is designed to utilize light management technology to enhance the contrast and brightness benefits of the projector's LCOS (liquid crystal on silicon) display panels for detailed, sharp image projection in virtually any environment.
- Designed for Constant Brightness Throughout the Zoom Range
- The projector uses genuine Canon optics to project virtually distortion-free images. A consistent F-stop equivalent of F2.8 helps it virtually maintain brightness throughout the zoom range with practically no light loss, helping to enhance performance with installation flexibility. The optics employ dual-sided aspherical lens elements and ultra-low dispersion (UD) lens elements designed to reduce chromatic aberration, ghosting, and flare for augmented sharpness and clarity.
- Compact Design
- The optical system features a compact design, enabling the overall projector frame to be made just 13.2" wide and 5.3" tall.
- 4-Point Keystone Correction
- The WUX500 D Pro AVfeatures 4-point independent keystone correction, giving you the ability to adjust corners with enhanced accuracy. it also allows each corner of the image to be independently adjusted to help ensure optimal image reproduction.
- Manual Lens Shift
- Manual lens shift makes it possible to adjust the image without digital distortion. The lens can be adjusted in both vertical and horizontal directions, ranging from 0 to 60% vertically and ±10% horizontally.
- Edge Blending
- The edge blending function enables you to combine images from multiple projectors to create one seamless projection. Additional functions allow for color blending and black level adjustments to help maximize image quality.
- Computer-Free Multi Projection
- Multi-Projection allows up to nine REALiS WUX500 D Pro AV projectors to be networked together to project one full image without the use of a computer. This is done by setting one projector as a "master"and the others as "slaves." The "master" projector reads the JPEG images that is input via the USB port and then distributes the information to the other projectors, allowing all the projectors to work together to display a complete image.
- HDBaseT Connectivity
- The WUX500 D Pro AV is equipped with an HDBaseT receiver, facilitating uncompressed HD video, audio, and control signals over a single LAN cable up to 328'. This reduces complex wiring schemes and maximizes long cable runs with minimal image quality degradation.
- NMPJ (Network Multi Projection) with Wi-Fi
- NMPJ is a function that projects video data from computers via a network. It offers a range of applications from a simple point-to-point direct connection to connecting multiple projectors to a number of computers. The WUX500 D Pro AV is equipped with Wi-Fi, which utilizes two modes of connection – the Projector Access Point mode allows you to directly connect up to five computers wirelessly, while the Infrastructure mode enables the projector to connect to an existing network wirelessly, allowing computers on the same network (wireless or wired) to project. There are four NMPJ modes to choose from:
- Direct Mode: In this mode, you can connect directly to the projector using a network cable, or you can connect directly to the network where the projector is located. You can connect one computer and use one projector.
- Meeting Mode: This mode is for sharing materials among all meeting attendees. It also enables remote operation and sharing via the Internet between bases in different locations, allowing each computer to select multiple projectors as projector operation is enabled from each computer. Up to 10 computers can connect to up to six projectors.
- Classroom Mode: The instructor can decide which attendee's computers will connect with which projectors, and can switch the attendee projections as the class progresses. Certain operations are enabled from the client computers, but limitations are in place. Up to 10 computers can connect to up to six projectors.
- Broadcast Mode: This mode enables one computer to connect to up to 12 projectors.
- Designed for Low Power Consumption and Simplified Maintenance
- The WUX500 D Pro AV is engineered to use a relatively lower amount of power per lumen. It offers multiple power management settings that allow you to preset standby durations, execute power operations, and auto-assign functions to the power button. Additionally, the lamp and air filters can be replaced while the projector remains ceiling-mounted, allowing for simplified maintenance.
