Product description Use this CaP Preparation Tool from CaP America to prepare your cable end for installation of a CaP connector. CaP connectors have a proprietary design which stands apart from compression, twist-on, or multipiece crimp connectors, boasting a quicker and easier installation and stronger pull resistance.
The tool splits the jacket of the cable and works with any kind of coaxial cable from mini coax to RG6 quad, and the prepped cable end works with any kind of CaP connector. Simply place the cable in the main slot using the red line to line up, press in both sides, then pull the cable out. After you peel the outer jacket back, you can place the cable in the stripping slot and twist until the center conductor is exposed.
