Representing the smallest of their full-sized offering in this series, the Carson 10x34 RD Binocular delivers performance without being bulky or heavy. Its powerful 10x magnification enables detailed observations of distant subjects, while a generous 61° apparent angle of view reduces the appearance of visible hand-shake common with high-power optics. BAK4 glass roof prisms and multi-coated optics improve light transmission, color rendition, clarity, and contrast to help boost performance as light fades.The RD is engineered with an open-bridge and dual-hinge,which reduce weight and provide more gripping surface area, without sacrificing strength or stability. To withstand the rigors of the outdoors, the optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature changes. Its lightweight aluminum alloy chassis is wrapped in a green rubber armor that not only protects it from impacts, but provides a slip-resistant grip.
