Product description The B&H Binocular Buying Guide Read More Designed for power and performance, the Carson Optical 8x42 3D-Series TD-842 Binocular is an ideal companion for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, or sports fans alike. Engineered with phase-corrected high-density BAK4 prisms and high-definition anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics, they deliver bright and clear high-contrast images with accurate color rendition. Its moderate magnification brings distant subjects in close without the narrow field of view or the appearance of visible hand-shake common with high-power optics — ensuring an immersive observational experience from dawn to dusk.To withstand the rigors of constant use out of doors, the chassis is wrapped in a protective rubber armor with textured palm pads and thumb-grooves that ensure a comfortable and secure grip in extreme weather conditions like rain, snow and frigid cold. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature changes. For comfortable use, Carson includes a shoulder harness that transfers the optic's weight from the neck to the shoulders, and for maximum protection and security, their BinoArmor case is designed to stay on the binocular and opens quickly, completely, and silently for fast use. Note: Warning - The case for this device contains magnets which can interfere with pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD's).
