The LM-20 2x DeskBrite 200 Desk Lamp Magnifier from Carson Optical is a great addition for any hobbyist or photographer. The flexible neck permits you to adjust the viewing angle to your needs while the large 4" viewing lens yields a bright, crisp and clear image. The sturdy base supports the optic leaving your hands free for other pursuits. The outer shell of the base is plastic and covers a solid metal interior. The extra benefit of this system is the addition of a 5x power spot lens for added magnification - valuable when you really need to get up close and personal with details on that plastic or wood model you're making.
