Product description - Carson Optical zPix 300 Digital Microscope HD
Carson's MM-940 zPix 300 Digital Microscope is a compact digital magnification tool for displaying images on an external monitor or a TV screen. It features a 2.0MP digital sensor that captures images and videos and delivers them to your computer's monitor through a built-in USB cord. The magnification of your samples will depend on the size of your monitor and scales at 4.1 - 21.8 times the size of your screen. For example, on a 21" monitor you will get an effective magnification of 86-457x, whereas on a 32" TV screen it will be 131 - 696x. For convenience, this scope can be operated as a handheld device or placed on the included stand for hands-free use. For getting optimum image zoom factor, the body contains a zoom ring, while the tailcap houses a coarse focus ring, and a pushbutton on top for triggering image or video capture. The compact body is made of lightweight polymer and offers an ergonomic and secure grip thanks to its knurled handle and the focus ring. This handy tool is compatible with select Windows and Mac OS platforms and includes a few handy tools like forceps, an eyedropper, and prepared and blank slides.
