Product description The M902 Magnum Pan/Tilt System from Cartoni includes the H580 Magnum pan/tilt head, the A844/M telescopic wood handle and attachment, the K706 single-stage Superpod tripod legs, and P735 heavy-duty metal ground spreader.A compact fluid head incorporating a counterbalance system, as well as an advanced fluid damping module, the H580 Magnum is designed to support a fully-configured studio or field broadcast camera equipped with a long boxed lens, 7” viewfinder, and a large teleprompter. The A844/M telescopic handle acts as a strong attachment for the Magnum head.The single-stage K706 Superpod tripod legs are constructed from die-cast alloy and designed to provide stable support for equipment weighing up to 440 pounds. The P735 ground spreader complements the ruggedness of the Superpod tripod, ensuring proper stability when working with the heavier loads. - Magnum Pan and Tilt Head The Magnum Pan and Tilt Head from Cartoni is designed to support fully decked Studio and OB cameras equipped with long boxed lenses, 7” viewfinder or large teleprompter. It is a compact fluid head incorporating a patented counterbalance system as well as an advanced fluid damping module. Manufactured with aluminum alloy, the Magnum provides precise movements and consistently high drag output.
The patented counterbalance system is suited to operate with cameras featuring a high center of gravity and weighing from 88 to 209lb. Cameras within this range can be balanced through the entire 130° tilt angle. Calibrated with a variable adjustment connected to a digital readout display, the counterbalance operating knob is located on the side of the head. The frictionless fluid damping modules also feature a patented design for an extended temperature range, with smooth and precise movements together with a linear response in any critical environment. The continuously variable fluid control knobs located on sides of the head with flip folding design, are easy to reach and are connected to a digital readout which allows the cameraman for a quick set-up even in low light conditions. The effective control brakes on both, pan and tilt mode are located on the front left side of the control panel and can be operated with a single hand. Two threaded holes for the teleprompter tubes are provided on the front of the sliding platform. The Magnum interfaces directly with any Mitchell flat base heavy duty tripod and can be easily mounted on top of all existing pedestals featuring the 4-hole bores. The Superpod available in a single-stage or a two-stage version, is fitted with two rotary clamping mechanisms and features 25mm diameter tubes, they perform unsurpassed torsional rigidity and structural integrity, while the locking knobs, which include over tightening protection, ensures maximum clamping efficiency maintained over the tripods lifetime. Features a Mitchell Flat Base or a 150 mm bowl and interfaces with a heavy-duty spreader or dolly.
