Product description The Fat Head BE (Bare Essentials) Short Ribbon Kit from Cascade Microphones includes two Cascade Fat Head BE Ribbon microphones, two microphone clips, two leatherette pouches, and a stereo Blumlein bar, but does not include a wooden box, aluminum case, and shockmounts. It can be utilized to capture audio in studio applications for electric guitar, drum overheads, horns, strings, banjos, mandolins, dobros, and more.The microphone design offers a true figure-8 polar pattern. The membrane is positioned in the center from front to back and produces a balanced audio input signal to both sides of the ribbon assembly. The Fat Head's warm, full-bodied signature sound and increased sensitivity is what you would expect and demand from a professional ribbon microphone. It is well suited for guitar cabinets, vocals and piano applications. It is also great for live stage use.
