Product description The 4x5.65 Matte Box Package from Cavision is suitable for the Panasonic AF100, Blackmagic Cinema Camera, and most DSLRs with lens diameters less than 100mm. This package includes a 4x5.65 hard shade clamp-on matte box, 120 to 100mm plastic insert ring, expandable top flap and a pair of side flaps, donut-style adapter ring for lenses with 60 to 95mm diameter, a swing-away component, a pair of 9.8" 15mm carbon fiber rods, and rear portion of rod support.
The matte box has a 120mm rear-mount opening that can be stepped down to 100mm via the plastic insert ring. It features two filter stages—one fixed and one 270° rotating, which is used with polarizing and graduated filters. The stages can accept a 4x4" or 4x5.65" glass or resin filter with a max thickness of 4mm (not included). The expandable side flaps and top flap block unwanted light and allow for maximum flare protection.
The swing-away component attaches to the matte box via its front bracket, allowing you to swing the matte box away and providing fast and easy access to the lens. It holds the pair of 9.8" 15mm rods at the correct lens height. The rear portion of the rod support features a balance bracket with heavy-duty riser, and a quick release baseplate for camera mounting. - MB4512-H2 4x5.65 Hard Shade 16x9 Matte Box The Cavision MB4512-H2 is a wide 16x9 Hard Shade Matte Box. Matte boxes control light better than a regular lens shade and offer the videographer the ability to use high quality 4x4 and 4x5.65 glass filters for image effects. Note: Does NOT include top french flap, side flaps, rods connection bracket, rods support system or step-down rings. - Wide Hard Shade
- The wide hard shade used with this matte box system allows 16:9 aspect ratios and will accept 4x5.65 and 4x4 filters.
- 4x4 and 4x5.65 Filters
- 4x4 Glass Filters can be used with one stationary holder and one rotating for polarizers and gradient filters. This unit will accept wider 4x5.65 filters for 16:9 aspect ratios and HDTV.
- ARP1210 Adapter Ring for Lens Accessories The Cavision ARP1210 is an adapter ring for lens accessories; it adapts from a 120mm lens diameter stepping down to 100mm lens accessory.
- ADU100-D50 Universal Donut Adapter Ring for 60 to 95mm Lenses Cavision's Universal Lens Donut Adapter Ring snaps into select matte boxes with a 100mm rear opening and serves as an anti-reflection donut for lenses with an outer diameter between 60 to 95mm. It utilizes a flexible fabric that allows for lens travel so it is suitable for use with lenses that exhibit up to two inches of lens travel when focusing or zooming. The flexible fabric features a draw string and cord lock.

- The flexible fabric provides an adjustable opening that you tighten to the lens to prevent light from behind the matte box flaring filters and degrading your image.
- MBF-5PA Expandable French Flag The Cavision MBF-5PA is an expandable top french flag accessory for matte boxes and sunshades. French flags allow more control over production lighting; enables filters and lenses to operate with favorable results. The expanding and contracting system on this model features a better fit and collapsing capabilities for efficiency and portability.
- MBF4SA Adjustable Side Flaps for 4x4 and 4.45 Matte Box The Cavision MBF4SA is a pair of side flaps for both the 4x4 and 4x4.45 matte boxes. The side flaps increase the ability of the matte box to block unwanted light, preventing a multitude of optical anomalies, such as lens flares.
- Rear Portion of Rods Support with Quick Release Button The Cavision Rear Portion of Rods Support with Quick Release Button is suitable for use with small cameras with short lenses. It is a balance bracket with tripod connection thread at the bottom and heavy duty riser. It also features quick release plate with quick release button and a locating pin for enhanced stability.
