Product description The Cavision Adjustable Height Lens Support with Locking Lens Belt for 15mm LWS Rods provides up to 60mm of vertical adjustment, enabling it to support lenses with a wide variety of outer diameters. The support sits in a bridge between two rod supports that support the LWS (lightweight standard) distance 60mm on center. Rotating a knurled ring adjusts the height of the support, and a screw stop prevents the support from coming out of the rod support bridge.
In normal use the support rests against a non-rotating section of your lens; however, for VFX shots or when your camera is moving and subject to vibration, it can be desirable to prevent the focus or zoom from shifting. Positioning the support against the zoom or focus ring and attaching the included lens locking belt allows you to secure that ring against movement. The belt in composed of ABS plastic links and can be adjusted between 50 and 200mm in diameter by removing or adding links. The support is made from anodized aluminum providing strength, durability, corrosion, and wear resistance. - The lens support features 60mm of vertical adjustment
- Includes lens belt with multiple ABS sections that can be added or removed, using a simple small flat head screwdriver (not included). this allows the belt to work with lenses with an outer diameter of 50 to 200mm.
- The included Allen wrench is used to attach and tighten the lens locking belt.
