Product description The Cavision Dual Handgrip Viewfinder Package is designed for handheld shooting with video DSLR cameras with 3" LCD screens. The dual handgrips, spaced 4.7 in (12 cm) apart, allow the operator to wrangle a small video DSLR rig with mobility and stability. The viewfinder connector is designed to align with the 3" LCD screen of the Canon 5D Mk II. Some DSLRs may align with the connector with horizontal and/or back-and-forth adjustment; others, such as the Canon 7D, T2i, and D550, require an additional spacer plate (Cavision part RPC4566). The LCD viewfinder is a 6x magnification device with a single glass element and a rubber eye-cup. It enhances the operator's control over critical focus and accurate framing. The viewfinder swings away from LCD screen quickly through the use of the swing-connection piece that attaches to the baseplate. The baseplate, which features both a male 1/4" 20 screw and a female 1/4" thread, connects to your DSLR and, optionally, to a tripod. The included spacers allow you to adjust the height of the viewfinder for the LCD to fit most standard DSLR cameras. The two included handgrips attach to the included baseplate. Their tilt is fully adjustable via thumbscrews. Note: The lens on the viewfinder, like all optical elements, by its nature magnifies light and thus will also magnify the sun's rays; therefore, leaving the viewfinder on the camera in direct sunlight may cause damage to the LCD. The manufacturer will not be held liable for damage caused by improper use of its products.
