Product description The Cavision LWA042X72 0.42x Broadcast Wide-Angle Adapter Lens for 72mm is a 0.42x Wide-Angle Adapter Lens kit for 72mm filter threads. This is a broadcast class adapter lens for lenses with a 72mm front filter thread. It is made from a combination of two wide-angle adapters: a 0.7 and a 0.6x adapter that when combined produce the 0.42x wide-angle coefficient.
Each adapter features multi-coated optics for a clear image. The adapter is for fixed focal length uses only and will not hold focus when zooming. You may separate the adapters and mount the 0.6x adapter to your lens for a 0.6x wide-angle coefficient. When used by itself, the 0.6x adapter provides a 30% wider field of view, but combining both filters creates nearly a 60% wider field of view. - Application
- The combination of the two wide-angle adapters provides a 58% wider angle of view than your camera lens alone; this optimizes the image in small spaces and will add more to image when reproducing wide vistas.
