Product description The Celerity Technologies 80' Fiber Optic Cable comes with a detachable HDMI connector at each end. This forms a Detachable Fiber Optic HDMI system that allows for an easy-to-use plug-and-play connection between your Blu-ray/DVD player, game console, computer, or professional video source and your HDTV. The system is designed to solve the installer’s common problems with long distance HDMI and concealed installations. The fiber optic cable provides the speed and bandwidth needed for optimum picture quality for high-definition video. It is pre-terminated with a miniature plug (9mm width) which supports fiber optic transfer to and from HDMI. The use of the miniature plug eliminates the need for time-consuming fiber terminations and costly fiber optic tools. This plug securely connects to the included detachable HDMI connectors that are plugged in at the source and display ends. The cable and connector combination supports 3D and 4K and Audio Return Channel (ARC). - Fiber Optics
- The fiber optic cable offers optimum picture and sound quality without and interference or loss of signal integrity. It is thin and easily hidden and features a detachable HDMI connector at each end, making it very easy for professional AV technicians to install the fiber optic cable in walls, ceilings, and small conduit runs.
- ARC (Audio Return Channel)
- Eliminates the need for connecting a separate audio cable between your TV and AV receiver.
- Sleek, Miniature Size
- The cable is pre-terminated with miniature plug, creating a small HDMI interface suitable for long distance transmission and optimum picture quality. The fiber optic cable can be easily hidden and no black boxes are necessary, and you get plug and play HDMI.
- Compatible
- The system has a high degree of HDMI product compatibility to ensure reliable connection.
- LED Indicators
- A convenient, tiny LED indicator on the detachable HDMI connector at each end lets you know that the Celerity Fiber Optic HDMI Cable System is properly working from end-to-end.
- No External Power Supplies
- Power at the source component (TX - transmit) is drawn from the source HDMI connector using the HDMI hot plug. At the display (RX - receive), power is easily connected via a USB port on the TV and with the Celerity USB power cable, which is wired into the Celerity Detachable HDMI connector.
- Low Power Consumption
- The fiber optic cable system is very efficient as its power needs are limited to very low levels.
- Interference-Free
- The fiber optic HDMI system doesn't pick up interference nor does it cause interference to your entertainment system. As all of the signals being carried are optical light signals, they are immune to interference and electronic noise.
