Product description The 0.7x Edge HD Reducer Lens from Celestron is a compact telescope accessory designed to reducing exposure time of your astrophotographs by half to capture the same level of brightness by making your EdgeHD 1100 one full f-stop faster. This accessory telescope eyepiece threads directly to 3.25" threads of EdgeHD, reducing mechanical vignetting and allowing for use with full-frame sensor cameras and off-axis guiders, as well as your existing Edge HD T-adapters . This reducer lens features a custom 5-element optical design engineered to maintain the flat-field performance the EdgeHD telescope system. Unlike generic reducers, this premium reducer provides substantial back focus to accommodate an assortment of imaging accessories. - Lens System
- EdgeHD reducer employs lanthanum glass elements and blackened lens edges for clear, high contrast viewing while minimizing chromatic aberration. The objective and ocular surfaces are multicoated for maximum light transmission and color fidelity.
- Performance
- 0.7x reduction decreases exposure time by half to capture the same brightness of objects one full f-stop faster. Reduce vignetting and use full-frame sensor cameras and off-axis guiders. A machined aluminum housing ensures precise spacing and alignment of the optical elements.
