The wide angle of view also helps to minimize the appearance of the distracting hand-shake that is common when holding high-power binoculars such as these. Optically, they are made with compact BAK4 roof prisms and anti-reflection multi-coated lens surfaces to boost the light-gathering ability and produce bright and clear high-contrast images with accurate color representation.To withstand the rigors of the outdoors, the chassis is made of a lightweight, yet durable, polycarbonate material that remains a comfortable temperature even as the mercury falls, and resists the expansion and contraction that is common with metal chassis. Each optical tube is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging, so the Gamekeeper will continue to perform in even the most inclement weather. The entire binocular is wrapped in a protective rubber armor, with the Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage pattern, to provide a slip-resistant grip that won't give your position away.
