Explore the night sky using the 8x56 SkyMaster DX Binocular from Celestron. This waterproof and fully multi-coated optic is specifically designed for those tasks and possesses two distinct characteristics that set it apart from many other binoculars and make it a good fit for the purpose: first is its wide 56mm objective apertures that allow lots of light and deliver good visibility in low-light conditions; second is its 8x magnification power that enables you to have good close-ups of the moon and stars without introducing much image jitter due to shaking hands. This binocular configuration allows you to observe celestial objects with both eyes, which is an option that not every telescope has. Also, it is fully assembled and mountable to a tripod using an optional adapter. To ensure that you get clear images, without glare, the lenses are anti-reflection multi-coated. Other highlights of the optic are its center focusing, interpupillary adjustment, and diopter corrector.
