  Celestron put together the Advanced VX 6" f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain GoTo Telescope to provide a complete observational platform that includes a mid-sized aperture optical tube assembly (OTA) to provide a balance of power and portability, the NexStar+ GoTo computer hand controller that guides its motorized equatorial mount, a tripod, plus an array of accessories to get you observing the Moon, planets, and deep-sky subjects like nebulae, galaxies, and star clusters right out of the box.   Celestron put together this 1.25" Observers Accessory Kit to give users the essentials for observation and astro-imaging. This kit includes two Plossl eyepieces that yield high and low magnifications on any given telescope, two planetary color filters, and a neutral density Moon filter. This kit also includes a multi-function accessory that combines a 2x Barlow lens with a T-adapter which will not only double the magnification of any eyepiece used in it, but also allows a camera-specific T-ring to easily thread onto it to for astrophotography with a DSLR. An included plastic carrying case holds all of the kit's optical accessories with room for more.

    ND Moon:
    • Helps block out a portion of the Moon's light to increase contrast, allowing users to see details better
    • Use when observing Venus to reduce glare so that the planet's phases can more easily be seen

  • • 2x Barlow: Doubles the magnification of any 1.25" eyepiece
    • T-threads allow a camera to be mounted when used with an optional T-ring
