Product description The AstroMaster LT 80AZ 80mm f/11 Alt-Az Refractor Telescope from Celestron is ideal for beginners or as a simple grab-and-go option for intermediates to observe Mars and other planets or the moon. It has a long focal length, and thus high magnification potential, and is intended to give users a complete rig that is easy to set up and use. Its manual alt-azimuth mount helps to reduce overall weight without sacrificing stability, and a control handle makes finding and tracking objects easier while reducing vibrations. Two eyepieces produce 36x and 90x magnifications, and a 90° erect-image prism not only puts the eyepieces in a comfortable viewing position but corrects the view to allow this astronomical scope to be used as a terrestrial spotting scope. An adjustable-height stainless steel tripod provides a stable platform for observing. - Performance
