Simple in design and easy to use, Celestron's un-magnified EclipSMART Solar Shades Paper Solar Viewing Glasses gives you an ultra-portable optic to view the Sun and solar eclipses. This basic optic features ISO-certified solar filters offering protection from IR and UV light while blocking 99.999% of intense visible light, allowing you to safely observe the Sun in a natural and neutral color tone. The heavy paper glasses are designed to fold at two different folding points to accommodate small and large interpupillary distances for comfortable use by most people. The Solar Shades are proudly made in the USA, and are offered here as a 4-pack so users can enjoy viewing the Sun with up to three friends. Along with the four pairs of glasses, a 30-page booklet is also included that is full of useful information about eclipses in general and the 2017 US eclipse in particular. - EclipSmart Deluxe 3-Piece Solar Observing and Imaging Kit Celestron put together this EclipSmart Deluxe 3-Piece Solar Observing and Imaging Kit to give you the tools you need to view and photograph the Sun and solar eclipses. The glasses are made of rugged plastic and their design ensures full eye coverage at all times. The included booklet has a map and information on how best to view the North American solar eclipse in 2017.The photo filter is not ISO certified, and intended for use with cameras that have live-view mode on their screens or smartphones ONLY. Tether holes allow it to be secured to most cameras and smart devices.

- Designed to work with a smartphone or DSLR with an LCD viewing screen used as a viewfinder
- DO NOT look through any viewfinder or through the camera in any way, as some camera viewfinders do not run through the properly-filtered lens, which mean viewing the sun without a filter — that can cause eye damage up to and including blindness
- If you are using the filter with a camera, use the video screen in live-view to find and center the sun for taking photos
- Do not use the photo filter if you are unsure of the type of viewfinder your camera has
