The 16x magnification provides the ability to bring the objects being viewed up-close for more detail. The optics are multi-coated BAK7 glass furnishing sharper images with highly contrasted details. A water resistant, rubber covered aluminum housing removes the concern of taking this high quality binocular out into the elements.
