Product description The Century Precision Optics 0.8x HD Wide Angle Converter for Canon XF300 / 305 is designed specifically to work with your Canon XF300 or XF305. It is a wide angle converter lens that widens the image your lens captures by 20%. This converts your camera's zoom lens from a 4.1 - 73.8mm to 3.28 - 59mm. This is a converter, not an adapter, which means that you can keep the converter mounted on your lens and use the entire zoom range of your lens and not just the wide end of your zoom.
The converter is purpose built for the XF300 and XF305 and attaches to the camera via the bayonet and not the lens's filter threads. This allows you to quickly attach and remove the converter without worrying about cross threading it on the lens. It is compatible with the OFA-8XLC-II sunshade, which allows you to use 4 x 5.65 filters. - Designed for Canon XF300 and XF305 camcorders
- Provides 20% increase in field of view when set to wide angle, telephoto or anywhere in between
