Product description The Century Precision 1.6x Tele-Converter with Bayonet Mount for Canon XF300 /305 increases your lenses focal length by 1.6x. This enables getting a tighter shot than without the tele-converter. Designed specifically to mount on Canon's XF300 or XF305 using the bayonet front of the lens, you can quickly pop the converter on and off as you need. The front of the converter incorporates a 102mm filter thread that will accommodate a variety of filters as well as a Schneider sunshade. The tele-converter is a partial zoom through, which means that it will hold focus from the wide end of the zoom through about halfway through the zoom range. However, you can still zoom all the way and focus when the tele-converter is attached, it is just that you will lose focus when zooming out. Please note this is designed to extend the reach of your lens, results may be less than desirable when used on the short to mid-zoom range. - Designed for Canon XF300 and XF305 camcorders
- Magnification factor 1.6x to extend telephoto angle
- No appreciable light loss
- Expect vignetting to occur when the tele-converter is used from mid-zoom to wide-angle.
