Product description The TG Microphone Cassette Channel Strip from Chandler Limited is a full-featured mixing console channel strip that delivers the historic TG sound with modern conveniences and flexibility. The 2-space rack unit is comprised of three sections; the TG2 microphone preamp coupled with a Curve Bender EQ section, which offers treble, bass and presence controls, and the independently patchable TG1 Opto Limiter. The Microphone Cassette offers the unmistakable sound of the EMI TG12345 transistor recording console first introduced in 1968 and responsible for the sounds of "Abbey Road" and Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon," as well as countless recordings from A-list artists including John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and the Rolling Stones. Note: Note! All TG units require and function on the optional PSU-1, Chandler Limited power supply. - TG2 Microphone Preamp
- The mic pre offers coarse and fine gain controls, a DI input, 48V phantom power, phase reversal, and a six-frequency selectable rumble filter for removing low-frequency content
- Curve Bender EQ
- The treble and bass shelf EQs offer cut and boost, while the presence control features five frequency selections and bell-curve boost or cut
- TG1 Opto Limiter
- The TG1 Opto Limiter offers hold, attack, and release controls, as well as an output make-up gain control and a knee switch with sharp/rounded selections. The TG1 limiter is independently patchable and compatible with line-level signals, which makes it ideal for processing multiple signals together. Should the engineer require stereo operation, two units may be linked via 1/4" connectors on the rear panel
