Product description The Xpress 512 Plus DMX-512 USB Interface from Chauvet is a self-contained unit providing one universe of data and control from a computer or USB-equipped lighting board. The user can control many separate universes by connecting multiple USB cables to as many Xpress 512 Plus' as are needed to control the lighting units. In addition, the Xpress 512 Plus has the capability to store and playback up to 18 shows with speed control and layering without a computer. External triggering is possible using a mini-DIN connector to control up to 4 scenes remotely. In addition the Xpress 512 Plus has built-in IR capability enabling infrared remote control (sold separately) of up to 18 scenes remotely. Playback can also be triggered at a predetermined date and time by utilizing the unit's internal calendar.
The Xpress 512 Plus can be powered via an AC/DC voltage converter or through the USB input cable. This unit is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. -
