The 86mm 90-UVAT UV Filter from Chiaro brings high light transmission and solid build quality to the table. Ideal for leaving on your lens at all times, this clear filter defends against scratches, impacts, moisture, and dust, while maintaining consistent image quality. Additionally, the filter ring is constructed from aluminum with an extremely durable hard anodized finish.
The 90-UVAT is the entry point to Chiaro's filter lineup, and features polished optical glass that achieves 90% light transmission, accurate color, and high contrast. A 3.2mm slim profile filter ring minimizes or eliminates vignetting to benefit its use on a wide-angle lens, and the aluminum ring has also been graced with a hard-anodized coating that strengthens the surface, increases wear-resistance, and minimizes binding. Additionally, strategically placed top knurling also aids with installation and removal. - Polished optical glass is 1.1mm-thin and delivers 90% light transmission while maintaining image quality and clarity.
