It creates a recessed space in the wall for routing excess cables and for attaching surge protectors and power conditioners. The storage box is TAA-compliant to meet the needs of U.S. government projects, and includes a flange for drywall mounting capability. The In-Wall Storage Box is compatible with the PST, PRO, PLP, MSR, MTR, MWH, MWR, PWR, PNR, PDR, Thinstall and FUSION wall mounts. - Break-away edge allows compatibility with both 3.5" and 2.5" studs
