Product description The Lantern and Standard Light Boom Kit from Chimera includes a Large Pancake Lantern, a Triolet Lamp Base, and a Standard Light Boom with counterweight bags.The Lantern is a 48" square light source with a half dome profile that can be used overhead to light an entire room. The lantern also comes with a skirt that can be rolled down on any or all of the four sides for dramatic lighting effects. The Triolet is an ideal mate for the lantern. The mogul socket comes with an E26 Edison base adapter with a 1,000W rating attached to a quick release speed ring that takes minutes to mount to the lantern. Offering 360 degrees of unlimited light angle and directional control and a 6' reach, all of the boom's angle movements are controlled by a handle at the pivot point. It comes with two empty counterweight bags capable of holding up to 15 lb total of lead shot. - Standard Light Boom The Standard Light Boom from Chimera offers a quick and easy way to position a light, particularly overhead lights with softboxes. Operating like a small jib arm, the Light Boom provides 72" of reach and features a 360° rotating head extension for angle adjustment. A single handle on the head extension is used to control all movements. The Light Boom features a combo baby/junior pin receiver for mounting to stands and accepts light fixtures that mount on a 5/8" baby pin (hex-sided). For balancing your light, the pole features a sliding counterweight system, with two empty counterweight bags included, capable of holding of to 15 lb.

UPC: 845077038002 - Triolet Mogul Base Flood Light with Quick Release Speed Ring (120 VAC) The Chimera Triolet Mogul Base Flood Light accepts Mogul base bulbs up to 1000 watts. The included screw-in adapter may be used for household bulbs. There is an optional 2-pin adapter for halogen bulbs up to 1000 watts.This is a fixture designed for use with 120 VAC current. It has an Edison grounded plug and in-line switch. Its speed ring adapter is designed for rectangular, heat-resistant softboxes. An optional protective glass dome is available, but limits halogen use to 650 watts.

This model measures 48" in diameter with a depth of 19" and has a flat top that makes it easy to place near a ceiling. Also, this model has a full diffusion cloth and comes with a skirt that features adjustable zippers and touch-tab fasteners so it can be rolled up for control over the light's spread. This lantern is designed for fixtures with wide beam angles or bare-bulb lights and it has a heat-resistant construction that permits the use of lights up to 2000W.
