Product description Ikan's iLED 312 is a lightweight, variable color balance fixture that's perfect for on-camera use. Among the light's many attributes is its crisp, bright output that lends sparkle to the shoot. However, a soft approach is sometimes preferable to alter the beam spread, reduce contrast or to simply flatter your subject. In situations where softer is better, the Chimera Micro 2 Folding LED Lightbank for ikan iLED 312 is just the ticket. Previous versions of the lightbank required support poles and a moderate amount of set up. True, they assembled quickly but not quickly enough if your line of work is ENG or "standups" in the street. The Micro 2 has an accordion and rail-type construction reminiscent of a bellows on a view camera. In short, it pops open and mounts, dismounts, folds flat and is back in your bag in seconds while other shooters are still fumbling with assembly.
