Product description Chimera's OctaPlus family of octagonal Lightbanks have a patent pending design that allows conversion of this 5-foot Lightbank to the OctaPlus 7-foot Lightbank in just a few minutes, with no tools -- just the optional conversion kit. This unique design gives you two Lightbanks in one. The whole Chimera OctaPlus family is compatible with strobes or continuous lightsources up to 1200 watts (2000 watts for the OctaPlus 7 ft.). This light bank requires a speed ring to adapt it to your particular strobe or hot light. Refer to the Accessories section, or click on the Speed Ring Adapter Chart in Specifications for your speed ring. A 3770 stand adapter or other model stand adapter is also recommended for the larger models, so the weight of the light bank is not supported by the fixture. - Soft silver interior with an innovative graduated baffle for very even light spread.
