Product description This Chimera Profoto Portrait Kit provides the modifiers and speed rings that you will need to capture the perfect portrait. The kit includes speed rings that allow mounting of the Chimera softboxes to the front of Profoto heads.
The heavy-duty speed ring for the Chimera Octaplus Light Bank allows mounting of the Chimera 3' OctaPlus Light Bank octagonal-shaped softbox to a Profoto head. The softbox has a soft silver interior with a baffle producing an even spread of light. The two PRO II Strip Softboxes come standard with a white interior and flush front face which provides a wider spread of light than a box with a recessed front. - Speed Ring for Profoto This rotating Chimera Speed Ring allows mounting of a Chimera, or other brand of standard rectangular softbox to the front of a Profoto flash, or HMI head.
- It mounts in the same manner as a zoom reflector.
UPC: 845077023305 - Octaplus Speed Ring for Profoto This is a heavy duty, heat resistant aluminum Speed Ring for the Chimera Octaplus Light Bank.
It allows mounting of the Chimera (or other brand) Octagonal shaped light banks to a Profoto flash head. UPC: 845077023329 - Octaplus Fixed Light Bank (3') The 3' Chimera OctaPlus Light Bank is compatible with strobes or continuous light sources up to 500W. The softbox has a soft silver interior with an graduated baffle for very even light spread. This light bank requires a speed ring to adapt it to your particular strobe or hot light. UPC: 845077060300
- Pro II Strip Softbox for Flash Only - Small The PRO II Strip Softbox is designed for use with a strobe. With fabric not intended for the heat of a continuous light, the PRO II Strip comes standard with a white interior and a flush front face, which provides a wider spread of light than a box with a recessed front. Popular application includes, but is not limited to side lighting a person or an object without getting as much wrap-around as a conventional rectangular softbox.
- Suitable for 3/4-length set-ups with children, or when a soft hair-light is needed for 1 or 2 people.
- Required Speed (mounting) Rings are available separately for many manufacturers' strobes.
