Product description Provided by third party: ChristieTwist is a powerful and easy-to-use tool to manage complex arrayed projectors that allows users to expertly create seamless images on flat, curved or cylindrical surfaces.
ChristieTwist is a dedicated, purpose-built hardware and software solution that enables full image warping and advanced edge-blending through the control of a powerful and easy-to-use Graphic User Interface. By manipulating geometry and blending, this powerful tool allows pixels to be mapped to virtually any projection surface with proper geometry and perfect pixel-to-pixel alignment. Designed with end-user applications in mind, ChristieTwist provides the ability to expertly edge-blend multiple curved images seamlessly, on all four sides, for up to 6 projectors. Users can precisely control multiple edge-blended images seamlessly and warp displays to virtually any projection surface - flat, curved or spherical screens.
The internal hardware module is integrated into the 10-bit image processing module. Once the warping and blending grids are set for multiple projectors, the properties are stored on the projectors and on the external PC. Multiple blend and warp properties can be stored on the projectors - providing easy access and immediate recall of settings.

- Warps fit the image to a variety of screen shapes easily, from keystone corrections on flat screens to spherical or cylindrical curved screens to arbitrary screen shapes.
- Blends
- Digital blend definitions allow images from multiple projectors to be overlapped such that a single seamless image is achieved.
- Masking
- Sometimes fitting the image to a specified screen shape without distorting the geometry of the image affects the shape of the image. You can mask out the extraneous information at the edge of the image. The default box on the Masking Tab's work area is the full potential projection, not the warped projection, which will typically lie within the boundaries of the default projection.
- Brightness uniformity
- This feature enables a user to manipulate brightness uniformity in instances where projectors are placed in positions where the direction of projection differs greatly from the normal surface of the screen. In these type of installations, it results in image keystoning and brightness uniformity differences across the image, and in some instances inconsistencies in the native size of the adjacent channels. To compensate for these inconsistencies the brightness uniformity feature can be used to define a regular array of control points at which the brightness value can be specified.

- A test pattern is generated in the projector that shows the warp grid and identifies the warp control points.
