Product description The 450-R2 Matte Box and Follow Focus Kit for Blackmagic Cinema Camera & Production Camera 4K from Chrosziel is a production package built around a 15mm rod support system. It features the 401-458 LWS 15 HD baseplate, 450-R2 Matte Box Kit, and the 206-05S DV StudioRig Follow Focus Kit with 0.8 pitch drive gear.
The 401-458 LWS 15 HD baseplate is designed for the Blackmagic Cinema Camera or Production Camera 4K, providing the proper rod to lens center height for use with the matte box. Your camera mounts to the baseplate via a 1/4"-20 screw, and dual 15mm rod ports provide support for the included 12.2" rods.
The 450-R2 Matte Box comes with a 15mm rod bracket for mounting on the rods included with the baseplate. The matte box features two independently rotating filter stages that can support, one that accepts a 4x4" filter tray, and one that supports a 4x4"/4x5.56" combination tray. Both trays come included. Also included are a top flag and side mechanism for adding optional side wings, and a removable rear attachment ring with 114mm and 110mm threads. To accommodate a wide variety of lenses, a 110mm flexible step-down ring is provided, which fits around lens diameters between 50 and 85mm.
For smooth and precise focus control, the 206-05S DV StudioRig Follow Focus is included. It supports lenses with diameters up to 115mm and features a removable focus scale. A 0.8 pitch gear drive is provided for use with cinema lenses. For lenses without 0.8 pitch gearing, a single Flexi Gear Ring MK II is also included for adding a 0.8 pitch ring to any lens with a diameter between 60mm and 120mm.
