Product description The Chrosziel Aladin MKII 3-Axis Hand Unit Kit with Motor Control Unit is a great starting point for building out an advanced lens control system. The Aladin MKII hand unit is constructed from the central focus/iris module which features hard stops on the handwheel, a zoom module, and the transceiver module. Two batteries are included to power the hand unit. The hand unit can be further expanded for greater control with separately available modules. For the camera side, the Aladin MKII Motor Control Unit can drive up to eight motors, allowing for advanced multicamera and 3D setups, if necessary. See below for more information on the individual items included in this kit. - Aladin MKII Transceiver Module MKII Chrosziel's Aladin MKII Transceiver Module MKII has a display and comes with an antenna.
- AL2-FI Focus/Iris Module with VariLock The Chrosziel AL2-FI Focus/Iris Module with VariLock allows you to precisely adjust focus and iris when used with the Aladin lens control system.
- Focus Scale Ring for Aladin, Genio, Fox, and MagNum Handwheels This Chrosziel Focus Scale Ring attaches to the handwheel of the Chrosziel Aladin, Genio, Fox, and MagNum lens control systems and lets you make markings and erase them.
- Aladin MKII Zoom Module Connect the Chrosziel Aladin MKII Zoom Module to your hand unit to gain precise control over your zoom lenses. The precise mini joystick provides enough resistance for exacting zoom actuation. Set the speed knob to adjust the maximum speed allowed by the joystick. For further precision, use the Set Zoom controls to limit the zoom range.
- NH Battery for Aladin Chrosziel's NH Battery for Aladin is a rechargeable battery for Aladin.
- Charger with Adapter for Aladin Chrosziel's Charger with Adapter for Aladin is a battery charger with an adapter for charging Aladin batteries.
- Aladin MKII Motor Control Unit The Chrosziel Aladin MKII Motor Control Unit can drive up to 8 digital lens motors via 7-pin LEMO connections. Using the 8 connections, advanced camera setups using multiple lenses can be easily controlled from a single source. An easily readable OLED display shows parameters and can be used for adjusting settings. Furthermore, the screen will operate in temperatures as low as -4°F. Data connections on the rear of the unit provide expansions for extending the connectivity even further using separately available expansion units. A right-angle antenna is included, allowing for flexible positioning on camera rigs.
