Product description

• Control signals are transmitted as digital data packets in the 434 or 869 MHz band with 18-bit resolution

• Suitable for many motors with digital incremental encoders, such as Heden M26VE, Scorpio SB92, Preston DM2, and Betz Tools BTM7

• Adjustable back-lash compensation system designed to eliminate play

• Controls 8 motors in S3D mode, and will synchronously operate two cameras' iris, focus, and zoom setting. Additionally, automates the rig settings for angulation (convergence), IA (inter axial distance), and is able to communicate with the Sony MPE200 Multi Image Processor

• Controls digital Canon and Fujinon lens motors directly through the two auxiliary ports; and can operate two lenses synchronously if required

• USB port for metadata recording, software updates, and lens- and rig-data handling

• Two serial interfaces for PC interaction

• Provides dimming control for the Aladin Light Source (AL-LS) and Colibri, and the DMX dimmer/receiver unit FD-400E

• Able to transmit through thick walls interior wall as well as metal structures when used outdoors. Offers better performance than systems operation in the GHz-range -- maximum transmission distance varies depending on the structural conditions of the set

• Provides ON/OFF and start/stop recording function when used in conjunction with compatible cameras

• The "Electronic Gear" feature allows the operator to define the relationship between user input and the reaction at the lens (spreading)

• Non-volatile memory retains a record of the last settings so they will be readily available the next time the Aladin is used

• The motor controller (receiver) supports powering from a wide range of DC sources, ranging from 10 to 34 V

• Power is stabilized and can be adjusted in five steps. Plus it is still possible to get powerful performance from the motors for a low-power source. The torque will be automatically adjusted during the calibration step

• With a modular design, each individual function can be combined into one transmitter through simple assembly. Here, too, all of the last individual settings are saved

• Reverse direction of the motor rotation is possible on both the hand-units (transmitters) and on the motor controller (receiver)

• An LED column shows the position of the zoom

• The hand unit features low energy consumption, and a single battery is estimated to last an entire shooting day

• The transmitter provides 16-channels, which can be selected at the push of a button. The RF Spectrum analyzer helps you find the best channel for transmission, and gives optical feedback to ensure both units are set to the same channel

• Adjustable fluid damping for the focus hand wheel

• Emergency Feature: Wired transmission is possible by connecting the transmitter and receiver using a standard video cable with BNC plugs
