Product description The Chrosziel Cage System for Sony a7S II & a7R II includes a cage, top handle, and 15mm LWS baseplate with a pair of 8" rods. The cage has an open-sided design that leaves full access to the camera's handgrip, battery door, memory card, and all ports and controls, meaning you'll hardly ever have to remove the camera from the cage. Both the cage and baseplate are designed with a base that's directly compatible with common tripod heads including the Manfrotto 501 and 701 and the Sachtler Ace heads.
The cage attaches to the baseplate via a quick release dovetail and is secured with a lever on the side. The top handle attaches to a NATO rail on the cage and offers a cold shoe mount as well as a cable pass-through for organizing your cables. The cage and top handle both provide 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads for attaching accessories. The Cage System protects your camera while providing support for accessories and additional gear such as a follow focus and matte box. - Key Features
